Intentions: An Introduction to Shivers + Crickets

June 12, 2016

Hello, and welcome! I am so pleased to (finally) be writing this first post and even more excited that you are reading it. If you followed my previous blog, The Desert Poppy, you may be wondering why I am here, bringing you yet another blog... I'm going to be honest, I was feeling as though there was nothing original left for me to curate and I was very uninspired and unhappy. I had tussled with the idea of a rebrand, but I needed more, a fresh start.

All of this being said, Shivers + Crickets began to take shape, on scrap paper, in iPhone notes, and journals. If an idea came to mind it was taken to heart.. and paper. This has been a long time coming and I am thrilled to share it with you.

Within S + C, you will find pieces on style, small city living, music, diy and heartfelt glimpses into my life. This is an honest blog with the intention of authenticity in every post.

I hope that you will follow along in this new journey with me, and as always, please don't hesitate to say hi! Blogging is more than tasteful layouts, snazzy photos and clever writing, it's community.
